HOKA TenNine Hike GTX
BLURB...
"Part hovercraft and part hiking boot, the TenNine Hike GTX offers peak cushioning, durability and traction with an extended HUBBLE heel geometry. Engineered for an exceptionally smooth ride, this bold, new profile creates an efficient heel-to-toe transition. Surprisingly smooth and exceptionally cushioned, this long-distance hiker employs Vibram Megagrip with Litebase construction in an outsole compound that reduces weight without reducing durability. Go ahead, hike forever"
Some lovely write ups so far... (thanks all!)

It appears that I only design ridiculously large shoes these days... and that’s fine by me.
Hiking is an area ripe for fresh ideas, people are getting out there in ever increasing numbers, so the ‘same old’ just isn’t going to cut it. They’re often on their feet all day, sometimes for several days, so they need footwear that is comfortable and light for the long haul. That’s where we at HOKA come in; we’ve taken the same approach here as we did to change the game in running. Experience first, all else follows.
Thanks as usual to a great team who worked with me on the project, including:
Dev - Ryan Ritzau
Color - Hannah Childs
PLM - Hy Rosario
Innovation - Thibaut Poupard
Cheers to Vibram for that sweet Litebase tech to help us literally lighten the load and not sacrifice the grip and Gore-tex for keeping those feet dry all day.
