I create to stir a reaction, take someone outside of their everyday.

Whether it’s inspiring someone to get of the couch or breaking 30 year old world records, I'm here to make an impact.

I'm currently overseeing Footwear Design at the North Face as the Global Senior Director of Design and I encourage and support those that work with me to do the same. Life is too short and there is too much rubbish out there already to not aspire to make an impact with your work.

I'm fortunate to lead a wonderful, diverse team in this task and have, over the years, been lucky enough to work with great people in fantastic places. I established and led design at HOKA, one of the fastest growing brands on the planet, oversaw innovation at Inov-8 in the Lake District, explored the future of personalized footwear with New Balance and UK Sport and learnt from an incredible team at Reebok in Boston.

I also have a PhD in design research from Loughborough University Design School, where, after speaking to hundreds of people about running shoes, I know the value of engaging with those who you want to help.
